Szymon Walkowski

Efficiency and Strategy Director, Rafineria Gdańska Sp. z o.o.

A graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology, he has been working in the energy industry for 15 years, including 11 years in managerial positions. In 2010-2013, he worked for the TAURON Group, then for 7 years in the heating industry: until 2017, he worked at Gdańskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej, where he held managerial positions, and until 2019, Development Director at ENGIE EC Słupsk. Since 2019, Head of the Energy Efficiency Office at the LOTOS Group, and since 2022, Director of Efficiency and Strategy at the Gdańsk Refinery - one of the most efficient and modern refineries in Europe. At the Gdańsk Refinery, he is responsible for implementing the decarbonization strategy.
